Paralyzed by Fear...Here's what to do

Have you ever been in a situation where you were so scared, so terrified that you literally had no idea what to do next? A time in your life where you needed to produce a result but the fear was so real you could almost taste it.

I have.

I remember a time when I was about to lose my house.  I took a shot at being an entrepreneur and failed. I had burned up all of my resources and now I was forced to start looking for a job and I had no money in the bank.  I was in a situation where I desperately needed work or face losing my home.

I was desperately interviewing and one company had brought in me for the final round of interviews and I was competing against a recent college grad. Since I had been in the work force already and I had already established myself as an award winner for several companies, I figured the job was mine.

Wrong.

I got home that afternoon and received a call that they had decided to go with the other candidate. Suddenly, I had to face the stark reality of losing my home and consequently, I was dropped to my knees. Completely terrified.

The terror was so real. I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t think, I couldn’t even cry.

So, what do you do when you need to produce a result but the fear is just too much?

How did you get out of it?

That’s what this video is about.

There are specific strategies you can apply when you’re in a situation like the one I described.

It is possible to find a way to win even when it seems like you’re facing an impossible challenge.

This is a simple three step process that you can apply the next time you find yourself paralyzed by fear.
